Failure Vs Success

Hey there, you amazing Mindset Maven!

Let me ask you a question. When was the last time you failed at something you tried to do?

Chances are that it was probably not that long ago. Guess what, that's okay. We all have things we do and "fail" at. I had two blog failures before starting this blog and business. But where they really failures? Well, I think that on some level they weren't. T

hey were meant to be teaching moments for me. It happened more than once because I did not learn the lesson the first time so the universe let me try it (and ultimately fall on my face) again to help me learn the lesson I missed the first time around.

Here's the thing about "failure". It's going to happen to us all more than once. It will probably take different forms each time but the idea is the same. We may fail at something so we can ultimately learn something as well.

When this happens, use it also as a chance to shift your mindset. Instead of thinking of the failed venture as a negative thing, reframe it in your mind as a learning experience. Say to yourself, "I will grow from this experience of not succeeding and use what I learned to succeed next time." You can also say to yourself, "I define my own success and am in charge of it!" By reframing it in this way, you take the power back and take control of your mindset again.

So, next time you find yourself "failing" at something, look at it and reframe it in your mind. View it through the lens of upcoming success vs the outgoing failure or being unsuccessful. Remember, your mindset matters and shifting it will do wonders for you!
